How does the ego basis us wild torment and what is the best process to matter next to this? Thank you.?
Difficult question to answer, because the occupancy 'ego' means different things to different folks. The way I think through the word, I'd say we adjectives have an ego and that it's essential for us to function within the world and be in relationship - it's the structure of our selves. But it is lone an image, not a concrete actuality! When the ego is a bit distorted (as a result of things not going too well contained by some part of our precipitate development) it may be difficult to manage our lives and our relationships. If you're sensation emotional torment and don't know how to deal beside it, psychotherapy could be a good route forward if you're willing to commit to going for a while and are of a mind and able to reflect and reflect on yourself and be challenge. But you may feel this isn't the right moment surrounded by your life for psychotherapy or you're only too sceptical about it. One other course that may help a bit is to give attention to about how you would look after yourself if you be someone else (if you see what I mean) and try to do that. You could also gain insight by keeping a journal.
