How can you go and get psychiatric therapy for a serious phobia of an animal? (herpephobia...distress of snakes)?

If i did get treatment for it, which everyone is telling me i have need of to do because my fear have become so unhealthy immediately, what would they do to me?
I don't know what they could do because at this point I can't even look at a cartoon drawing of a snake minus hyperventilating. it's really badHow can you go and get psychiatric therapy for a serious phobia of an animal? (herpephobia...distress of snakes)?
the perfect news is that the treatments for phobias (and anxiety disorders surrounded by general) is very influential in most situations.
if you settled to pursue therapy, you would probably do something call systematic desensitization. this is a type of therapy contained by which you combine relaxation skills with increasingly distressing thoughts going on for your fear until the phobic agent is smaller amount anxiety-producing. it works very resourcefully for most phobic disorders
Get drunk and hold a snake, you'll get over your fears, that's what I did.
Hypnotherapy is great for this category of thing but cause sure you get a registered hypnotherapist to catch your moneys worth.
